Ten Weeks II results

Ten Weeks II: 11 paintings, 2 duds. Three studies, two of those also duds. Quantity increased. I have to do a lot of small stuff for my upcoming duo show in August, and then hopefully take some time on the big stuff in the coming months. Good.

These two are the duds. I think they may be salvageable, though. Good news is that already for Ten Weeks III is that I already have 4 paintings done and I'm only 3 weeks into it. Starting three more this week. Upping my output.

Self portrait study (6x8" on canvas panel). The other two (a mini sargent portrait copy, and a pen and watercolor landscape) are so terrible that I will not waste your time, even for the sake of letting it all hang out. I cannot bring myself to photograph them.

Ten Weeks I results

So I did 10 paintings, and 48 studies from Traildust: the Art of James Reynolds. Two paintings were flubs but I'm proud to say every one of these went out the door to a gallery. (But not the studies. those were for my own fun). As of this post, the three candies already sold. Good!

The studies, along with Blue and unfinished Pink. To the left are some pigment notes and numbers, and  mixtures.

And perhaps most importantly-- the failures

So there you go. The results of 10 weeks #2, which ended near Christmas will go up next.
